Hi,

I brought my ‘86 Carrera on a 200 mile spin at the weekend, which is my longest trip since owning the car.

I thoroughly enjoyed it even though it p*ssed rain for the 100 mile trip back.

I spent 2 hours washing and drying the car after the spin and I noticed 2 stone chips.

I’ve had a look online and found these guys - https://www.chipex.eu

Has anyone used them before, or has anyone any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance for your help.

2 stone chips? I have a bit more than that on mine biggrin. They collect them like flies. I just touch them in myself. No one notices except me, and only if I’m scanning.

Haha, yes I know... they bother me now I know that they are there, however i’m Not so concerned about the aesthetics of stone chips... i’m more interested in covering them so they don’t turn into something bigger on an older car.

I've used the Chipex stone chip repair paint on my white Cayman R and its good stuff. Colour match was perfect, and the kit works and is easy to apply. You only need to buy the cheapest kit for a couple of chips.
