So not a direct business question but figure this would be the best place for a powerpoint question

Giving a speech at a wedding next week. Had planned to utilise powerpoint to display suitably embarrassing photos. The venue doesn't have the space / facilities for a projector screen. Then I thought pretty much everyone there will have some form of smart phone and wondered if i can utilise that. Is there a solution that will easily allow me to 'stream' the powerpoint presentation to the other guests on their phones?
Want to avoid them having to download anything, ideally give them a URL and a password type of thing. Have used similar stuff at conferences for Q&A type activities but not for powerpoint.
Any suggestions gratefully received

Thanks
Mike

Can I give you a very strong recommendation?

I will anyway!

Don't do this. Keep it simple. Get the photos printed A1 size on a sheet of Foamex and stick them on an easel or hold them up.

Anything tech is prone to fail. Not everyone has a smart phone. Not everyone will have the data needed. Even if it does work, they'll end up looking at the phones and not giving you their attention.

Really....don't!

Yeah I think thats right. A lot will have phones, but only actaully maybe half will be even interested in the idea of getting that sorted, then only half of them will actaully manage it.

^^ what he said. A1 / A0... the detail of the photos is not important(or shouldn't be)... its the context and you telling a story.

But if the venue has white walls, you won’t need a screen, just the projector, which could be placed on a convenient table...
