Hi all, can anyone recommend a good machinery mover please?
Very basic gist is that we need to crane and load from UK location and then deliver and unload in Italy.

I’ve used Great West Autos (01843 822449) for machine moving in the UK but I don’t know if they go abroad. If they don’t they may know someone who does. I don’t know their capacity but easily moved my 6.5t lathe.

Fleggs forgot their name, they are often used by my works for machine moves.

Where from and where to also what machine is it, some like hardinge and Haas lathes can only be forklifted. I’ve got a dozen or so companies I use almost daily including a few one man owner movers who are really good at what they do but you won’t find them on google.

First used them 30 years ago - still to be recommended.

Thanks to all that replied with useful contacts; have ended up using King Lifting for this particular project which I think someone kindly recommended. However, all other suggestions have been noted, as I'll need these services fairly regularly in the future, so thanks again everyone thumbup

Without a doubt, David Watson Transport, very competitive pricing, flexible and go the extra mile on the day until the job is done!

Second to them I would be using J Parrish, again, faultless moves, and staff that you would want working for you
