Buying a laptop - business or home?
Discussion
Hi,
My wife is self employed and is looking to buy a laptop for work use and has been looking at Dell ones.
If she orders through the "small business" pathway it works out cheaper, so she has been trying to establish whether she qualifies for it.
3 calls to Dell in India she is none the wiser, the scripted cretins just keep trying to spec it for her when she just wants a simple answer.
Does anybody have an answer for her? I have said just order it as "small business" and if they get funny then inform them of the wasted 3 phones calls

why not fork out some decent money and buy a nice sony, being self employed as I am - the more money you spend on 'office' equipment the more money mr tax man dosen't extract....shiny laptop or minted tax man, u choose!!!
Dabs have an 'hot offer' on Sony lap top at the moment.
