Hi,

My wife is self employed and is looking to buy a laptop for work use and has been looking at Dell ones.

If she orders through the "small business" pathway it works out cheaper, so she has been trying to establish whether she qualifies for it.

3 calls to Dell in India rolleyes she is none the wiser, the scripted cretins just keep trying to spec it for her when she just wants a simple answer.

Does anybody have an answer for her? I have said just order it as "small business" and if they get funny then inform them of the wasted 3 phones calls rolleyes

We have loads of Dell computers at work and the guy who ordered them told me it wouldn't be a problem ordering a small business one for personal use... I'd just try to go ahead with it, you can always cancel the order if they get funny...

Mail me tomorrow and I'll put you in touch with the chap I deal with at Dell. I'm sure he'll do you a good deal.

I/we are a Dell dealer - drop me a PM if you want to bounce a quote off me, will see if I can get a better discount.
