We have been asked by a client to improve their database search facility (estate agents) on their website. While we can provide database search facilities we feel we may be slightly out of our depth on this one, and our service is more geared toward entry / affordable websites. we always want to provide a top flight end product we have decided to outsource this work.

So calling any website designers / programmers with a proven track record in this field. We would look for a cut of your fee and future business is a real possibility. Please PM me but I am away on holiday from tomorrow for 1 week. I will contact any likely companies on my return.

James. We do *real* database systems with web-front ends. Microsoft technology through and through..and solely at the back end...although we'd be happy to make something work cross-browser at the client end of things.

Although we're primarily focussed on selling our own web-based software we *do* consider bespoke systems development if there's enough margin in it.

You may be out of your depth but does your customer have money to spend? Bespoke stuff isn't cheap.

If you don't get the responses you want feel free to contact me through my profile on your return.

Our client is heavily linked into my property development and land business, hence the relationship. We have just completed a very large deal with them. They are not a national firm, but have serious resources. That said its not an open cheque book and we want real value for money. Your post has been noted and thanks for it.

From the sound of it this is exactly the type of bespoke database stuff site that my company specialises in. I'll pop you a PM.
