PH really worries me sometimes. Is this the result of them installing t'internet access in prisons??

I guess the answer to this is no, but if the person with £8 million decided to become a resident of australia where there is no Inheritance tax, and keep all his/her assets there, while still living here, could that work

No.

Still a UK tax resident.

Still has a UK Domicile.

Still subject to UK tax on his/her WORLDWIDE assets - WHETHER THE MONEY IS REMITTED INTO THE UK OR NOT.
