Resource Planning
Discussion
I may need some software to help me do some resource planning.
I need to be able to enter the number of 'bodies' I need on any given day, the core hours I need to cover, their houlry rate, etc..
Then I'll need to know how many full time and part time jobs this equates to.
We are probably talking about 1 dozen people at the max.
Can anyone recommend anything?
Thanks

Hi,
So you've just unearthed the problem that drives everyone else nuts all day as well!
This is my daily consultancy work at the moment.
Excel is most people' sticking plaster solution but it also gives a myriad of errors - unless you're desperate don't use it, there are a whole raft of ERP (enterprise resource planning tools) available, many provided web enabled so cheap to deploy and run and later switch off if you've finished your project.
I've got loads of experience in this arena, drop me a line, glad to point you in the right direction.
