Just wanted to get a view from the PH barometer...

In my little corner of the commercial world, we appear to be on the brink of some whopping price rises, driven mainly by raw material costs, but also by wages, energy, transport blah, blah, blah.

this is all stuff that is being imported to Blighty...

Anyone else seeing similar? From where I'm looking, inflation looks increasingly likely.

Inflation is already far, far higher than the headline rate that's reported.

Look at the cost of government for example.

People know things are costing more and they are earning less.

Edited to add: apart from a range of manufactured goods (like cars) that in real terms are cheaper than ever. Its a bit bonkers out there IMO.

Its manufactured goods that I see the price rises in (in my sector)... after years of deflation and price fighting.

Bonkers is a word I've used today describing the situation I find!
