French land ownership question

Slightly odd question I know, but PH is the fountain of all knowledge. A developer friend of mine posed the following question and it would be nice to look partially intelligent and come up with an answer

So, who owns the land where the Hoverspeed - where the hovercrafts and seacats used to land in Calais at the port? Is the land owned by the Port of Calais, or by the Hoverspeed administrators or someone else?
