Some of you have heard of this myterious 3rd fund Ive been looking into and indeed a few of you have emailed me about it. Well for those interested this is the plan, for those who arent bugger off, stop moaning about all the spread betting threads and posts and be miserable gimps elsewhere.

Capitalmarkets.com. DONT RUSH THERE AND SIGN UP NOW FFS! Patience, some of you really! Oh and dont look at the screen like that, I know at least one or two of you were cutting and pasting the link in even as you read this!
Anyway, they offer a £70 "free" reward for introducing friends. Now, the interesting bit of the deal is they give this £70 to both the new customer and the friend. To qualify, the new customer has to put £250 in their account and make 2 trades.

Now, I have got my account sorted. What I was looking at in terms of the 3rd Fund was getting as many from the SH mob and anybody else interested, signing up with my name as a reference. My account is essentially the fund account and that gets built up to a healthy number. If 50 ppl join then £3500 goes into that account. What you lot dowith your £240+£70 is your own business, I would suggest after your 2 trades you withdraw your £250 bank into your bank account and play with the £70.

What do people think of this? If ppl are interested DONT sign up to them yet. We get everything in place...I havent made my 2 trades yet...and then proceed smoothly.

Sounds good in theory to me. How will the profits from the £3.5k you have in your be split though and at what levels? E.g. Will you try to build it up to £50k before distributing profits?

Sounds good, but I'd want some more details of how profits will be distibuted etc. If all good then I'm in. What returns have you made on the last two DJC?

Sorry, spreads, not markets.

James I havent a foggiest how profits would be divvied up as there are no fund members yet and so nobody to decide anything!

I'm interested DJC, can you give me an idea of the success you've had and how the Shareheads scheme is going?

What are you doing on the other two funds you run?

DC

So far as I can see capitalspreads only offers, on binaries: FTSE Daily 10-point ranges, Hourly Up/Down, Daily Tunnels, One Touch and Up/Down.

Which would you be playing?

Tor, hourly up/downs and the Gold daily.

SH has been £500 in profit twice before Ive got kicked in the nads. We lost £3k about 3 weeks ago when the ftse daily binary finished...get this...0.08/pt the wrong way for us. Decided that was the last time I played the daily! I made that £3k up in 2 weeks and last weekend I got buggered on the football. You can count the number of times somebody has got a penalty in the last second of 5mins of injury time in the 1st half on the fingers of one hand in the last century of 1st division football! Wtf plays 5mins of injury time in the first half anyway!

Can you provide some details on the other two funds you run? Capitalisation at start and present holding would be a beginning. Weekly number of bets played and number won would also help.

Only run one fund atm. The other is in the process of having its cash collected.

Capitalisation is around £8k for each.
The one up and running was £8500 last weekend an as of the shafting I just took an hour ago £3100. Suffice to say, I wont be using the financial binaries anymore, I simply do not trust the software. Sticking entirely to Gold & Silver and sports now. Will be looking into the betfair horses thing as described by the other guy.

Would people be happy just sticking to Gold/Silver, football/F1 (as and when it looks a good take) and currencies if we can have some trends spotted ? I mean no playing/experimenting, but sticking rigidly to the plan?

I would be a bit concerned about the football. I have spent time trading football on betfair and backing no late goal or a team to win when they are already in the lead is not the way to make long term profits from it.

Things like laying (betting against) the draw and then backing the draw once a goal has been scored in games which are predicted to be tight are far better ways of doing it but I don't think you are able to do that using a binary betting system.
