Im having fun (?) getting my goods shipped to customers. What do you guys use?

Im happy with the postman for the small stuff in a jiffybag, but for the heavy stuff (>1Kg) their prices get a bit silly, and so do delivery times/gaurantees.

Ive got a quote of £13 upto 10Kg from TNT for overnight.

any more ideas appreciated.

Ideally I want overnight or 3 day < £10

We use Initial City Link, £5.80 up to 5kg / £8.00 up to 10kg collected, overnight delivery and fully insured. Track the parcel on-line and best of all, if they don't deliver/collect as arranged you don't pay!!!

All depends on your traffic profile. I work as a management consultant, specialising in reducing business overhead costs.

Recently seen prices of £2.80 for next day up to 25kg. It's a good sized account though. If you're spending more than £20k p/a on this, I might be able to help.

Have knowledge of most suppliers (and more importantly details of their service levels) in the marketplace.

See www.erauk.net (sorry for the obvious pitch!)

We use Business Post, and pay about £6.00 up to 10 kg next day. we have tried several suppliers over the years including Securicor Omega, TNT and City Link. They are all as average as each other! We get supplied with a free computerised despatch system which makes life easy (prints labels, manifests etc)
