Transferring previous years ISAs - catch!

I normally move mine every year or so to get a good rate, however, I've just tried to open accoutns with Alliance & Leicester & ING Direct and both wont allow me to transfer until after 5th April when I pay in next year's allowance.

Anyone else found this? I've never had this problem in previous years. Bloody banks!

Try a different provider - NSAI used to have the best rate on the market a while back
