As some of you may have noticed we have a sales and marketing job going.
I have put it on here, the cambridge network and a few other places but have seen very little interest.

Before I go down the recruitment consultant route do any of you have any good ideas of where I might post the ad for little cost and a great return?

TIA

Might be a bit of a long shot, but you can post jobs on the jobcentre site and offices with a single phonecall.

Give em a bell on 0845 601 2001.

Might not be perfectly targeted for this vacancy, but hey, its free and you might get lucky

Rather than going the agency route, which usually costs a fair amount, I would post it in your local rag. Most usually have a job section on a particular day and is obviously targeted locally.

Otherwise i know a couple of people who are in recruitment and can ask on prices if you fancy?

www.monster.co.uk - negotiate and it will cost you £50.

Can be good but there aren`t really any decent specialist sales sites. CV Trumpet is another but I haven`t used that.

jobsite.co.uk, salesvacancies.com, saleswork.co.uk to name just three....

An agency will only cost you if you take their candidate, and they have access to LOADS more advertising avenues and candidates than you ever will - thats their job afterall.

I would love to say, let me have a go. But as I am in recruitment I would, wouldn't I?

Try:
www.reed.co.uk

It is a very good jobsite that is free to advertise on. I know, we often use it!

Just a quick update, we actually had a fantastic response with some very good candidates from the Jobcentre advert.

Slightly suprised, but we will make sure that all advertising is posted there in addition to any other effort.

Interesting, I have had some decent interest via jobserve. Interviews next week.
