Fair enough!

Asos is a UK based popular clothing site, selling a mix of their own brand and branded clothes.

Zappos is a US based site selling shoes. Bought by Amazon a couple of years ago.

Net-a-porter is a UK based site selling very high end fashion. Just sold for a couple of hundred million, making the founders very wealthy!

Basically they're similar to what Boo.com was trying to achieve. All the above probably learnt a fair bit from the failure of Boo.

Asos is essentially everything Boo should have been, but without the mind share. If boo had made flight, it would be as ubiquitous as Amazon.

To summarise I really enjoyed boohoo, and am now recommending it to everyone. "How to get rich" was also surprisingly good, and the contents didn't really reflect the title. I read it as an autobiography of Felix Dennis, which is very interesting.

Outliers read more like a theses and while the lessons and stories were interesting, he took far to long to tell them.

'BooHoo' combines both your interests.

About an online clothing retailer that went bust in the early 90s.

Well written and easy to read too, ideal for the beach!
Following the recommendations on here I took Boo Hoo on holiday last week and thought it was a good read. Very interesting too, given what is happening with Ocado at the moment.
