Hi Guys,
Anyone know how the OP got on? I am thinking about doing it myself.
Would start doing it at weekends and specialise in mini valet rather than detailing. I worked in a valet section of a premium rental company for 2 years and know how to clean a car pretty well but would feel like a bit of a theif taking loads of money off people for a full days detailing.
I do think I could offer value on the mini valet side of things so would probably just concentrate on the business parks (where people pop in at weekends) and pensioners etc.
If I do take the plunge I will let you know how it goes.

Why not just take the plunge!?
A lot of folks ponder things. If you're unsure - have a crack at it evenings and weekends. Don't bother going ltd, just do it as a sole trader with your own car and a couple of £40 magnets on the site. Do it on the cheap, and if it starts to go to plan, then quit your day job and go ltd and spend the cash on a new van with a full wrap etc.
