I've asked this question on here before but why in the hell is my upload speed so crap?
Your upstream output power is likely very low. Or lots of noise

Just a fairly normal Tokyo connection... will certainly miss this when I return to the UK at the end of the year.

Rural Shropshire doesn't have quite this sort of connectivity, and even in London I doubt I'll get a connection quite this unrestricted.

Connection is 100Mbit fibre to my home.

O/T, but I think I've seen your car at Sky. It's a black 182 with a smiley on it? I've seen it around the back of building 2 I'm sure...

I'm usually in the Unit 4 car park but go to the Unit 3 one if I can't get a space. Where are you usually?

I'm a contractor, but will normally work in building 2 either in Studio 7 or in and around the Creative dept.

OK, I'm currently up on the Sky Studios 4th floor in Platform Control.

Not great, but does the job for most things. Can be much worse during peak times though.

My parents house, surprisingly good considering the age of the phone wiring. They've been with Demon for over 10 years now.

[sarcasm]Strange isn't it how at the sky HQ the broadband is uber fast,

however this is what their customers get [/sarcasm]

On a serious note it doesn't help being on copper cables and 2 miles from the nearest exchange.

Copper is better than aluminium

Not a bad speed for your distance!
