Arrived before 1030 this morning tahnk you HH, initial thought are wow just wow, well presented and not as heavy as thoight. Quickly turned it on and 25000 was enough to light up the kitchen. On charge now so cant wait to try tonight in the fields, I will update once I have but 5 stars for HH to bringing this to market and their service.
25,000 "enough" to "light up the kitchen"????!!! What, from orbit? How big is his kitchen? Maybe he means instantly set fire to everything in the kitchen? smile

So much want...

and why would you need 100k lumen? PFSN 6K lumen is more than enough.

Enough? confused

I bet when your wife stops, mid blow job, and says 'That's enough now', you respond 'Yes, of course, thank you darling'.

The same reason people buy a 580 bhp AMG or similar, then send it for tuning to 800 bhp....

Because more is always better than less.

My apologies, I realised I can't see my nob from space with 6k lumens so need an upgrade. I'll work on some modifications to the led drivers to boost this up to 150k lumens.

That should do the trick.

I wanted to have one of these cheapo LED thingies that were bought by various members here a couple of days ago,

saw that it also accepts a 26650 battery and ordered one from another dealer.

After two days, the flashlight order was cancelled because the dealer did not stock them anymore, got my money back from amazon,

but the battery arrived at my home anyway.

Now I could have sent this back and ask for refund, but male logic made me look for a pocket-sized daily carrier for the 26650,

and I found this for 48€ on german ebay :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/BORUiT-6Modes-XPH-70-2-LE...

I like the size, built in charger for USB input, and power bank ability, do not like the non-zoom but in that compact size no one offers it,

apart from the really expensive manufacturers.

Does anyone here have this Boruit BC10 ?

Coincidentally my $26 Astrolux EC01 arrived yesterday which has a very similar spec to your torch. Totally unnecessary as I already have a very bright torch and a stupidly bright torch but this one has more lumens biggrin Which is a bit like horsepower, no such thing as too much.

Well maybe so but I'm perfectly happy with an Olight H2R and a Suzuki Swift Sport. Both get used to their full potential as often as possible smile

I've really not had much luck with rechargeable batteries - AA/AAA.

I've bought inexpensive but recommended batteries, I've bought expensive recommended batteries, but none are giving anything near the level of service I'd get from a regular Duracell. Often, they'll barely last a couple of days.

The only consistent factor is my charger - which wasn't cheap either - but I wonder whether it's actually stuffing the batteries with sufficient electro-wobbly goodness?

So can anyone recommend a replacement charger from a UK retail source, e.g. Amazon, eBay seller, A.N.Other store.

Very similar to yours, and recommended on this thread (I think) a long whole ago (bought mine in 2009) is a Technoline BL700n

Thanks thumbup

Shame it's limited to AA/AAA though - think I'd prefer one which could do the 18650, 26650 etc cells too.

Any of you guys have a USB-C torch that you’d recommend?

At the moment, only an 18650 from Lidl, charges via USB and works as powerbank, too.
I am still sitting on the fence for it´s bigger brother, see my post from Oct 22.

The Astrolux I mentioned in an earlier post that arrived a few days ago has a USB-C but I can't comment on the USB charging aspect as I put in a fully charged battery so it will be a while before it needs charging. It takes 18650/21700 batts, 3500lm and 300m throw, $26.

Arrived and operational.

What I didn't notice, as I ordered it, is that it's a USB charger rather than mains charger. Which probably would have dissuaded me (will take tonks to charge 4 cells?)

Well, I'll let it do its thing and see how it goes smile
