My refurbished iPad 2 arrived on Monday and it is brand new. 349 for 32gb.
I am sure it is wonderful but I don't like it when there is an improved screen available. Quite a difference in my opinion. While the improvements in resolution are welcome, I do wonder if its a case of dimishing returns - not quite the benefit that people can genuinely use.
I'm hoping to have a better upgrade experience than some on here as I'm upgrading from my 18 month old (original) iPad.
I'm following a similar 'leapfrog' upgrade cycle to the one I follow for Windows and other gadgets - i.e. XP to Windows 7 missing out Vista; iPhone, iPhone 3, iPhone 4S.

UKMail by any chance?
I'm tracking it on the TNT app, so don't know who's supposed to actually deliver it, and as no-one has turned up yet I can't say. Can't reconcile the delivery ref/consignment number on the UKMail website though.

I'm not totally convinced, but then I have similar feelings on the 4s screen. Yes, the screen on the 4s is better than that on the 4 - but not by an order of magnitude, and I'd tend to expect something similar on the iPad.
The iPhone 4 and 4S share the same screen. But I've got good eyesight, and while I can see a slight difference, its not anywhere near as massive as the spiel makes out.
Mrs Seight informs me that mine is waiting for me at home.
Nipped out to PC World to buy a case for it at lunchtime and played with the iPad2 alongside the "New iPad". To be honest it wasn't obvious to me which one was which - the displays on both were superb.
This will be my first iPad - but if I already had an iPad2 I wouldn't feel too hard done by and certainly wouldn't be looking to upgrade.
I want more than 16GB as I intend to use it for photo storage/processing on the go - but if 16GB is enough for you then I reckon the price-reduced iPad2 is a great deal.
