brightness is what was killing mine.. yesterday i forgot to bring my charger to work and was worrying if i would have enough power to last the day, used it as normal with the brightness turned down and i had 40% by the time i went home... my old 4s wouldnt have managed that.
Shouldn't you be, you know, working?

I can come to work with 20% battery on my IP4 and it'll still be alive at the end of the day!

Wish I could!

Mine's down to 43% from fully charged when I left this morning circa 6am.

I blame the Exchange synchronisation and anytime I get an email at work or update a calendar entry and add a contact/task etc it pushes it to the phone.

You can swap it to check periodically rather than push if you'd prefer:

Settings / Mail, Contacts, Calendars / Fetch New Data
- Keep Push on if you want it for the non-Exchange account
- Set a Fetch time of your choosing
Advanced / Exchange account / Fetch rather than Push

Not sure, just saw it in an email earlier today. Either way should still work though I guess.

The chip assigns pins dynamically, depending on use.

It's not the power button, it's the camera lense or something was mentioned earlier in this thread or the other one.

So why if i put my finger on the power button does it not rattle?

Its the button trust me, im sat here looking directly at it and if i rest my finger on the button it has some play in it side to side.

Thanks, but I like push.

Just need the new 'lightning' adapter to become common place so there's 10's of them knocking around my house and work.

Google don't have any plans to make an app at the moment.

Exchange sync is the only thing I switch off when I go away and need to preserve battery. Makes such a difference. I got Thursday Evening - Sunday Lunchtime at Goodwood this year without charge. I normally have to charge my phone every night.

I'm getting hacked off with the getting to 5 o clock, having taken my 5 off charge at circa 7 and it only have 20% charge left. I'm in the office for another 2 or 3 hours at least so I've had to turn it off so I can call the OH later and tell her to put the dinner on.

I'm going to need to visit the Apple store tomorrow lunchtime for another cable! Oh and I end up having to carry the one cable round the house and remember to take it upstairs at night and... it's just annoying because I'm practically tripping over the old ones all over the place, and the old docks etc etc.

Also, from what I hear you wont be able to get a job lot on ebay for 99p at any point.

Only issue I'm having though, love it other than that!

Download Battery Doctor and see what's taking the juice. Mine seems to be performing better today.
