Have to say I've been really impressed by my 5. I upgraded from a 4 and the extra performance really is fantastic to have. Going back to a 4 now, it feels to cramped and too heavy. I didn't think it was going to be a massive upgrade but I'm really, really pleased with it.

Have to say I've been impressed by the battery life too; this is what I got over the weekend with quite a lot of use:

I don't like to ask daft questions but how do you do a screen grab on an iPhone?

Also I'm starting to get excited, I'm due an upgrade on the 18th which has fallen perfect for me as I've been able to sit back and watch the reviews roll in. I know I'm having the 5 in black of the 32gb variety. Just hope my case turns up in time.
For anyone interested I've ordered a cygnett urban shield carbon.
Does anyone else have one? Any good?

Thanks for that, almost 2 years I've had this phone and only just found that out.

so pissed off. I've waited 4 weeks for this phone and the estimated delivery time at 18:00 today.

had to pop to the shops at 2pm, was gone for 15 minutes and they've attempted delivery during that time!
The delivery driver was waiting 'round the corner for you to pop out. They love winding people up, little rascals!
When mine was delivered (launch date) I was just leaving for work and putting a notice on my front door to "leave with a neighbour" in the slim hope he would, the delivery arrived. I quizzed the courier if he would have left it next door - he told me I was his first delivery of 160 phones that had to be delivered by 4 o clock and that he would have found me wherever i was as he was getting paid by the units delivered!

Anyone after a cheap iPhone 5 from a legit source, try smartfonestore - http://www.smartfonestore.com/buy_product.aspx?sea...

Starting from £474 for a Grade C locked handset. They'll still have the balance of warranty with Apple (i.e. Sep 2013)

No wonder their out of grade C stock. Sounds like that is what Apple have been shipping out!

My battery seems to be getting better as time goes on. Anyone else finding that?

Aye, much better now after a couple of weeks of charge and discharge.

I might be making this up, but I did hear back when I had my ipad1 that it can take a bit for the device to settle in, and for it to compile all the bits to compile, etc, or something like that.

Sounds like bks to me to be honest. You just play with it less so it lasts longer.

good man!

my courier didn't even leave a card.

if I wasn't so astute at tracking online deliveries then I wouldn't of even known.

they are attempting re-delivery today.

Do you reckon battery life (certainly if you are on Orange) could be down to the phone constantly searching for LTE but not being able to find any?

Certainly since I have turned it off the battery has been hugely improved. Taken off charge at 6am and now on 77% with constant emails binging away and a bit of Safari/Facebook and about 10 mins of calls.

This was my guess too,

I'm pretty impressed with the battery actually, I think it's holding up better than my 4S
