I ordered one of these cases and got mine on tuesday. For the money i am impressed. access to all button, none of the screen is obscured, holes in the back for the speaker, can plug in cable and headphone. Adds a bit of protection as well and the carbon finish is rather nice
Would of prefered a cover like http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0046HCQX2/ref=... to mimic my kindle but no yet available but at £9 inc p&p couldnt go wrong!JD said:
OK have I gone mad?
This is most up to date Google software, I want the olympics app, it says it is not compatible with this version!!!
How can that be?
It needs Flash http://thedigitallifestyle.com/w/index.php/2012/07... so not on jellybean but you can get flash see page 2 of this thread I think it was linked. This is most up to date Google software, I want the olympics app, it says it is not compatible with this version!!!

I was about to buy a kindle but have just spotted this. I can't justify the cost of an iPad but am thinking this might be a neat holiday gadget. I'm only used to laptops and iPhones, am I going to get lost trying to use the nexus?
Would want it for music, books, Internet, maybe movies and photo storage.

Sorry, how do I get flash? Is it from the app store? That thread earlier that mentions flash seems to be about downloading something to a PC. I don't have a PC here at the moment.
[Edit] next problem, I'm guessing related to the same thing, when I am trying to view a video on the watch series site, they don't work and one says you need at least flash 9 for them to work. But I know they aren't flash as the same kind of videos works on my iPhone?

There may be popups, it's for a rather funny episode of curb your enthusiasm.
I'm not doing to well so far to warm to android! Both things I've wanted to do don't seem to work!!
Baron - to get flash, OR change to a different web browser, you will need a PC I think to connect it.
I'm sorry you're dissapointed so far - android is pretty good but this is the first model where they have dropped flash support...therefore webpages see you are on android and try to send you the flash version.
With your iphone they will detect it and send a non-flash version of the website.
In time the sites will adapt, it should only take an "if" statement in their web code to send you the non-flash version.
Stick with it - it will grow on you.

Oh - and I'm in luton airport dixons and they have 16 16GB nexus 7's for sale!
My tesco order has just flipped to dispatched so I will stick with them and hopefully get it delivered tomorrow.
Google are allowing playstore customers to cancel straight away (after an hour wait to get through) but you have to say you are in the UK and then they know about the distance selling regs.

Do you know if this includes shipped orders ? And if so if they'll refund shipping ? I tried to cancel mine via google wallet early yesterday morning and in the evening I got a "your order has shipped" email.
tvcatchup is available on Beta.
to take a screen capture hold down the volume down button and the power button simultaneously.
this is dictated using the voice app.
you need to say period not full stop at the end of sentences.
not sure how to capitalise first letters of sentences and delete letters.
anyone know of a link to a tutorial using this voice recognition.
with a few tweeks this could be the start of the IPads demise.

I cancelled mine five days ago and they still sent out yesterday. good job I didn't order the 16 gb. I was told there is a 15 percent restocking fee if you open the box.My tesco order has just flipped to dispatched so I will stick with them and hopefully get it delivered tomorrow.

Picked mine up from currys yesterday and I'm nicely surprised by the slickness of the N7. Could have done without the sales bullst regarding cloud storage and Norton then the obligatory insurance, patronising fkwits, just don't take no for an answer. Just got to sort flash out root and storage and we have a winner!

They can't do that under Distance selling regulations, you are entitled to a full refund if you return it within 7 days.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
