O2 network down
Discussion
In due to upgrade on the 26th having been with O2 for over 10 years now.
July issues affected me, now today's have too.. It's a good job my phone is for leisure and I don't have to run a business through it.. Or luckily I'm not expecting a call from a pregnant wife etc etc. That's round the corner for me and tbh I can't risk the network being down.
What's the best network to use?

Just came back for the briefest of moments here in North Worcs. Gone again now.
Not that bothered. I have load of other methods for communication, including two alternative emergency numbers (Mom's not well) but well over 95% of my comms these days are written anyway. Wifi on the BB still works.
I have no alternative to O2 anyway - no-one else provides a signal strong enough to use a mobile in my house.

Of course, it was nothing to do with O2 because I'm abroad. It's all to do with whatever partner they use.
If your home network HLR is down, you won't get any signal no matter where you are on the planet.IainW said:
I was pondering changing to T-Mobile at upgrade time, but couldn't be doing with the hassle, so stuck with O2 and got a Galaxy SIII on Monday. Wish I'd changed my mind now.
I was due an upgrade two weeks ago (have been with 02 for well over 10 years) but didn't get around to it as was busy. Was planning on going in to do this weekend. After todays failure (still nothing here in West London or earlier in Herts) I think I might change networks now instead.

Which bit of "it's nothing to do with your location" are you failing to understand Was planning on going in to do this weekend. After todays failure (still nothing here in West London or earlier in Herts) I think I might change networks now instead.
