iOS 6 preview now on Apple website
Discussion
They are fine by postcode, but point of interests are lacking.
Nokia (Here) Maps seem ok but I haven't had a chance to use them in a real situation yet.
If I need to find something I usually just Google Maps it via the browser.
For Navigation, Apple Maps is really good but again will likely need a postcode.

You know, having lived with "Maps" for a while I don't find it too bad.
In actual fact I find Gigolo Maps a bit clunky for mobile use.
But I've just walked round a square in Edinburgh four times looking for the office I wanted. I don't have the latest cool. "Fly-Over" app that would be so fun.....

Use Maps+ on the App Store.

To be honest, I am not found wanting with Google Maps on the web for finding something nearby.

And despite being "fixed" .....http://www.theregister.co.uk/2012/12/11/apple_mild...
Still not quite right.
And when are Apple going to get the podcasts working right on iOS 6? Its utterly horrible being a separate application, nothing was wrong with it before, so they didn't have to "fix" it. Grrrrr.
Podcasts works fine, certainly does for me. What are you having issues with?
As for an error with Apple maps, I suppose anything to make some headlines. At least it did not spark an invasion like Google maps did with one of its errors.

Looks like the Mildura cock up wasn't a one-off, there seems to be a fundamental flaw in the way the app interprets locations down under:http://www.news.com.au/technology/key-design-flaw-...

So basically, don't rely on Apple maps to navigate Australia.
What I don't understand is how the locations can be wrong when they got their information from TomTom. You would expect that to be as valid and accurate a data source as any and, since no blame seems to have been pointed in their direction it suggests Apple took good data and interpreted it incorrectly somehow.
