What have you got?

I used a Beyzacase for my 4 and have found these online for the 5...

http://www.beyzacases.com/pd-iphone-5-zero-series-...

I currently have the brown with blue stitching on the 4, having discovered it after having had the black/red for a while so passed the latter onto the OH.

Brilliant cases, don't add any bulk to the phone, hard wearing and offer fairly good protection.

So before I go ahead and order, I wanted to see what you guys had come up with any hear any feedback.

I also can't work out whether the tan/yellow is disgusting or actually quite nice.

My 5 is black/slate.

Incidentally, I came across these as well...

I love them but not willing to pay the extra for it.

Oh, and I also love these...

I currently have the Tech 21 clear impact band along with Steinheil Series Ultra Oleophobic screen protector;

Tech 21 Impact Band

I also have a Griffin reveal case which I picked up for a fiver due to the free £10 O2 moments voucher;

Griffin Reveal case

I think however I will be getting the new Speck CandyShell satin which has just been released in the US so I can't imagine it being too long before it's available over here.

I only used the apple bumpers on my 4 up until my sister bought me a novelty cassette case one a couple of months ago but ideally I would like to return to the bumper now I've switched to the 5. I hope apple start making them.

That sort of case really detracts from the phone in my opinion.

What's the point of having such an aesthetically pleasing handset and wrapping it in something like that!?

Mine...

The Gear4 one on the 4 has been fantastic, I also love that it looks like tyre tread on the reverse (after all the back of the black 4 is only black). Great protection.

The 5's Belkin clear case has been good so far. Haven't noticed it at all & like that the apertures for camera lens & volume controls etc are of good size.

Still aesthetically pleasing without looking like a leather wallet sock thing with some unrelated branded name in bold on it.

ETA. Socks are sweaty and smell wink

I had a Speck Pixelskin case on my ip4 - I didn't really want one but Apple sent it me because the bloody phone would hardly work without it! biggrin

Because to me the main point of the phone is it's features, not its looks. I recognise that to some people they like the look of the phone and I agree that this case won't be suitable to them. They'd prefer a slip type case like those in the OP. I just want to be able to use it without fear of dropping or breaking it.

If I cared what it looked like then perhaps I wouldn't have bought a protective case (the point) that covered up the phone.

I've used these cases since they first came out. They're quality. End of. smile

That's fine.

What I mean is why did they make the inside of the case look quite nice but the outside so bland?

Oh ok, the inside is some impact material that goes hard on impact (the orange stuff) and the honey comb is for I don't know what! Admittedly it would probably look better inside out!
