Does anyone else use LightFlow? I can't seem to get it to work since upgrading to Lollipop.

It's an app that controls the colour and pattern of the notification LED for different apps.

It worked fine on KitKat, but since upgrading to Lollipop it seems to have no control over the LED. I was hoping the 5.0.2 update would fix it, but it didn't. It's quite annoying because I found it really useful.

Are you using the Free Lite version or the paid for version.

Lite Version (v3.15.109) is not yet compatible with 5.0.x

Where as the paid for version (v3.51.1 updated 29 Dec 2014) is

So I gave my wife my nexus 4. She is not overly technical - this is looking very much like I shouldn't upgrade the phone to lollipop yet! Thoughts?

I wouldn't. Whilst there are some nice things about lollipop; imho it's definitely a step backwards in terms of reliability.

Other than LightFlow not working, I've had no problems at all since upgrading to Lollipop.

Unfortunately Lollipop hasn't solved my N4's random hanging issue must be some duff hardware.

I like this phone but I'm considering a N5 replacement now.

Out of stock. frown

The N6 starts at £500. That's too rich for me. My N4 was half that.

If you need a replacement then consider a Moto G. I have one and it does 99% of what my Nexus 4 does. Plus it is 4g! They really are a bargain now that Nexus prices have shot up.

You can still pick them up from Expansys.

Crikey, they're cheaper than when Google had them. Are they brand new?

Yep, all brand new stock - they're reduced to clear. Once they're gone, they won't be getting any more in (hence why the most popular 16GB in black is already sold out). I'm on a Nexus 5 and still think it's an excellent buy - truly flies on Lollipop.

Now that I've hd my oneplus for a month or so, I'm going to sell my Nexus 5. Would there be any interest here?

Both my N4 and N5 needed charging twice a day. Bought an LG G2 on a black friday deal from Vodaphone, unlocked it, rooted and put Cyanogenmod on it and it's great. I almost miss Lollipop but the all day battery more than makes up for it. Can't quite bring myself to sell the N5 jut yet though!

Well, after my hasty email to the guy I bought a replacement battery from to which he kindly sent another, I removed and reinstalled the new Gmail app and battery life is pretty good, with wifi on and left pretty much collecting mail and messages it will last somewhere near 2 days. Ive always charged it every night since new.

Replacing the battery is not difficult, just needs a good torx head screwdriver, small flat blade, plastic spatula to open the case and a hairdrier to soften the glue holding the battery in.

So you were one of the lucky ones that actually got an LG G2 then...I'm like a lot of others are still waiting....anyway. back on topic.
