Except that all that's there is a phone number, so as far as the finder is concerned it's my second phone/contact number...
But you've told us it's your wife's number?

Fair point - so I'll just have to be doubly careful not to lose my phone at a PH meet then!! smile
Maybe you're not getting the point. I can still see the mobile number you#ve tried to mask, hence having the ability to send your wife naughty messages...

Ok - I've got your point, and thanks genuinely for pointing it out to me.

I've changed the original image - the number doesn't exist on the image (as you'll see if you click on it and it takes you to FlickR).

The images in the posts on the thread appear to be cached somewhere.
I've refreshed browser cache and it's not there, so PH must have it cached on the site somewhere.

I've also now edited the original post and re-entered the BB Code for the image and my original image has now updated.

The quoted ones clearly have not.

Any idea on how to get those updated, or how often the cache gets refreshed?

ETA:
I've also notified the moderators requesting the cache be refreshed if possible.

I've deleted my reply with the original quoted picture, so only one left.

Also, the forum's quote function hates ampersands, so that's why I've had to edit your username in the quotes!

Resurrecting this thread again. I found a nice clean launcher called Niagara in the Play Store and this combined with some of the official Microsoft Surface wallpapers works really well:

All of my most used apps are in the scrolling dock at the bottom.

You should be able to get minimalistic icon packs in the play store.

Found one:

My all-time hero, astronaut John Young on my Honor 9.

Just the one screen, all apps in the little icon tray.

How do you find the Honor 9? I've got one on order at the moment. It's not easy to find a small phone with a 16:9 screen and decent specs these days. I don't like the new long 18:9 screens that require finger gymnastics to use single handed.

Standard Samsung on an S9+, the background is a photo that I took whilst on holiday in Wales in August this year:

I don't liked to bugger about with third party apps that change icons, I'm happy with the standard fayre.
