Cripes !

So, if they can track Kazaa users easily enough, are ANY of the above filesharing programs secure, or could they trace you on any of them ? (I'm guessing they could, assuming they wanted to ...)

Only if they can get your (mate's?) ISP to play ball and hand out the IP addresses to the record companies.

The UK ISPs have not been forthcoming.

A passerby once told me that Imesh is a spyware ridden piece of junk and was fit only for burning...

I just stopped iMesh from running at startup (so the new.net files weren't locked) then used Spybot S&D 1.2 (had to run it twice) and that seems to have cleared up the beastie ...
