I feel as though I already know this answer as I've tried via my ipad and failed for months.
But does anyone know of a way to get a laptop (pc or mac) to display it on a TV? Surely there's a hack somewhere? Mac to TV with ATV doesn't work, HDMI doesn't work.
I know the reason, because Sky have blocked it, but just wondered if anyone on here had managed a workaround?
NB - I am not trying to rip sky off whatsoever, it's for my dad who has the sky sports package, but wants to watch it in his bedroom and his eyes are too bad to see it on an ipad/laptop screen close up. My mum's downstairs watching films and stuff, so a new lead won't help. Just trying to avoid multi-room costs.
Cheers all.

I have a laptop hooked up to my tv alk the time and can play it through that no problems.
Do you have any problems where, say after 15-20 minutes, the display drops out of full-screen mode? It keeps happening to me and it pisses me off. There are no other programs open so there isn't anything stealing focus, and it's happening in IE, Chrome and Firefox.Teppic said:

I know of quite a few people who use video senders to share sky, so in 3 linked houses (or terraces if you will) the middle guy has the sender and the sky box and the guys on either side have receivers to watch what the middle guy watches - but its still free and it works.
