I'll probs get to mine at about 630, if I find there's an utterly gigantic queue, i'll just go home. Since my local store is within a shopping centre, the apple store guys told me that they would lead groups or 25 or so at a time into the main store a short while before officially opening, as it would be carnage to just open the centre doors and have a few hundred nutters running for the store.
The Apple store in Liverpool is right in the middle of town, people who are on night outs walking past at silly o'clock Just thinking to myself how much do I want it and also saying it is just a phone, but I don't want to have to wait 2-3 weeks for it.

Why bother? Are you actually doing beta testing or is it for showing off only?
Not sure why you'd question this? It's the gold master, the same build that will be on general release unless some massive bug is discovered. Updating a few days early is for my convenience as the distribution servers will be rammed like they always are. That, and I enjoy the warm fuzzy feeling of walking into the pub and getting a standing ovation for updating my device successfully before everyone else, as I am obviously an Apple ninja.

I had assumed that earlier versions of iOS wouldn't talk to the most recent versions....

Does anyone know what people with big phones do when they go running or cycling? I'm not sure an iPhone 6 would fit on my arm or in the tiny bag I've got slung under my bike seat (which is the biggest I could find, fitting an inner tube, refill cannister and iPhone 4S).
Rucksack if it is a Samsung S4 or bigger I've actually ran with an SGS4 before on my arm, before the switch back to Apple. Wasn't that bad but it's certainly better with a smaller phone.

My 5 just fits into the pocket at the back of a pair of Ronhill running shorts I have. I hope the 6 will also fit, but the pocket is length limited. The answer may be to get a 90 degree jack for the headphones! Could you get something bottle cage mounted, or get creative with a cycling bottle?RobM77 said:

Back pocket of your jersey should be more than big enough. RobM77 said:

My Samsung Galaxy S3 is approx the same size as a 6 and fits nicely in a cycling jersey pocket RobM77 said:

Has anyone found an iphone 6 wallet case with the wallet on the back of the phone, not one of these fold up jobbies?
Closest there is... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Spigen-iPhone-Champagne-Ho...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/For-Apple-iPhone-6-6G-4-...

You're probably right, but I wouldn't want something heavier than a tissue and a debit card jumping about in there, especially when out of the saddle, thus the saddlebag. I confess, I had only looked for a saddlebag in my local bike shop, maybe online would get me a bigger one?As for running, I'm sure an arm band will be available, but it's still a bit big!
The other thing is my 4S just about squeezes in the pocket of my buoyancy aid (in a dry bag obviously).
I think if I get a 6 then I'll just have to keep my 4S and the size of sim it takes for when I need a mobile phone.
