Er, so you want an Android or Windows phone then, not an iPhone. confused
This. That's their MO and very good they are at it. The more complicated iOS gets, the further it gets from the original, simple design.
nope, I want an iphone. I love the design, how well the apps work and feel. I like the hardware and it's design. I just want a bit more from the software!

You'd better get used to being disappointed then biggrin

As they're on the back foot these days - Curved screen, or at least some akin to it to allow them to claim innovation?

But slightly more seriously, I predict it won't be called 6, I remember something from my dim and distant past a 'rule' of marketing when you shouldn't give anything a number over 5 (or 3 ideally).

I also predict a 4G equipped iPod touch, which won't be called an iPod touch or sold as an iPhone without the 'phone' bit - but will be exactly what it is.

This.

If you buy into the Apple model, you accept the walled garden that is "we know better than you do what you want".

No, you buy into a model - the same as with most products people buy - where it does what it does and if that is what you want then you buy it, if you want something else you buy something else, it's as simple as that. Nobody forces anyone to buy Apple, if you don't like it, don't buy it.

I just want a better battery! Can't even get a day out of mine. Granted I am using it for calls and emails, still pretty pish.
That. And 1 icon wider - if they used the additional volume for battery and camera then solves both problems. The thickness is fine - in fact the thickness of the 4S was fine.

Whoa there, you don't have to get all aspergers about it. Get some perspective please, it's just a bit of tech that people are well within their rights to have minor issues with. Contrary to popular belief, Apple (nor anyone else) is not always absolutely and empirically right.

And did I say it was? Quite the opposite in fact. I'm the one saying it is just a product, buy it if you like it, don't buy it if you don't like it. I don't care one iota if people decide to buy something else. You seem to the the one getting all worked up about it - so calm down, read what I wrote and, in your own words, get some perspective.

Can I request some form of built in corner protection (rubber maybe) so I don't have to have the glass swapped out every few months.

Or try not to damage it? I am on my 3rd iPhone, not scratched/or broken one yet.

"The iPhone 6 is also set to be the slimmest yet, coming in at just 6mm thick. That should clip 1.6mm off the iPhone 5 and make the iPhone 6 half the thickness of the iPhone 6. "

Eh?

I'm still running my iPhone 4 and have been waiting for the 6. I just wish they didn't keep making them bigger! If I wanted something bigger I would have bought an iPad.

Haven't they been saying it's got a bigger/better/longer battery every time?!
