Wife broke her screen, and needs something to tide her over for the next 6 months.

Can anyone recommend a $"(ish) phone, that si similar to the below? price is the main factor, just something £40-50.

If Android isn't required then the Nokia Lumia 530 ain't too bad, £65 on Amazon unlocked. Moto e is another tenner if Android is preferred.
£50 isn't really achievable unless carrier subsidised (sim locked). I got a lumia 530 for £40 from cpw but that was an orange paygo upgrade deal. Still as from cpw, handset is actually unlocked.

As above, the Moto E would be my android pick if it had to be that small.

If WP is ok, you might find the older 520 or 525 very cheap.

I got a 530 for my mum last week from CPW, £20 on Vodafone upgrade.

Thanks guys, will have a look at the Moto E! Want it to be unlocked so that we can keep it as a spare for when her contract renews next year.

I got an unlock code on ebay the other day for a Moto G, cost me £1.18 and I received it in 20 minutes or so.
I got the Moto G at Tesco for £49, however I think they were only clearing stock at my store as I got the last one, and can't see anything online about them selling at that price.
