OnePlus 2 - Invites and chatter
Discussion
Mrs. Kinky is getting my OPO - a great upgrade for the Moto G which she currently has.
In terms of feel, it certainly looks and feels much more premium than the OPO. Sizing is identical, but the OPT has a slightly more rounded back than the OPO (due to bigger battery I guess).

How does the handset feel in the hand (without a case)? Compared to say a Z3, or S6? Is the metal the nice cool sort of feel you get from those devices?
To be honest, I've no idea comparing it to other devices, but there are tons of videos doing exactly that.In terms of feel, it certainly looks and feels much more premium than the OPO. Sizing is identical, but the OPT has a slightly more rounded back than the OPO (due to bigger battery I guess).
Do you need an invite still to buy one?
I was just browsing looking at accessories and put a 64gb into my basket, pressed paypal and asked me to log in to paypal to pay.
would it put a order in if I continued or would I be stopped for a code or something?
(I'd try myself but I'm not purchasing one yet)

You can't buy one without an invite.
The only time the £10 comes into play is if you want it sent express delivery. The irony being the free option comes quicker than the express
I haven't tried buying it but: http://www.mobicity.co.uk/oneplus-two-64gb-in-blac...The only time the £10 comes into play is if you want it sent express delivery. The irony being the free option comes quicker than the express
Edit: If anyone has a invite for the 64gb I would appreciate it

I don't fancy your chances, have a read of their reviews...egomeister said:

Yeh I did yesterday There's another website that offers it with a near 5* rating from 1400 reviews or something.
I'm just holding out a week or so for an invite or going through this other place.
My phone is on it's last legs, it needs charging 3x a day and that's with a new battery.
Have to hard reset it daily to get things to work like internet

On a side-note, I received an email from the OP folks today to ask me if I wanted the tracking number for my delivery. So it's imminent
Hey matey,Have you received yours now? The reviews seem mixed - half of them say it's the best thing since sliced iPhones, and the rest say it misses the mark - very interested to hear what an owner with 'hands on' thinks.
ta!
Yeah, it arrived on Monday
But a bit of a #FAIL ..... it takes a nano-sim. I honestly never thought to check. The OPO takes a micro-sim.
Anyway, sim ordered from three which arrived today, so I'll call Three tomorrow to migrate my number across
But that all said, I had a long play with it before the London launch event and loved it. I have to be honest, my use of it is fairly minimal ...... occasional calls and texts, photos, social media, emails, and occasional gameplaying. And most when I'm on a wireless network. Hence why I get about 3 days battery life from the OPO.
But I personally love it. I know it's technically a step down in some respects from the OPO - but that does not bother me at all.
I appreciate that's not the most technical of reviews - there's plenty of those on the web.
I should stress I'm not a fanbhoi

Really? In what way? From what I read I guess I'd consider not having Cyanogen OS and a slightly worse battery life is a step down but that's about it isn't it? And even then, The Cyanogen thing is very subjective, I'm guessing it wouldn't bother many people.
