Black Friday.....what are you tempted to buy?
Discussion
Not me, but M&S Fitbit Charge HR for 66.49.
Arrives and it's not an HR but a Charge, i.e. no heart rate monitor.
Ring up customer services, looks like a complete cock up, either they've ordered HR and not got what they've ordered, or it's been put onto the website incorrectly.
Full amount credited, we can't put it back into stock so please keep it to say sorry.
So to anyone whose ordered or bought one of these, especially if it's intended as a present, just check it, save disappointment on the day.

Just bought this with the 25% discount, my grandad has something similar and it's a fantastic bed to sleep in if I'm staying over, so hoping this is the same.
Also using my clubcard vouchers I can get one of these windows tablets for peanuts.
Question is, as this is x86 tablet, how would it handle things you could do on a regular Windows laptop? Obviously Fallout 4/GTA 5 etc. is out the question, would Minecraft be too much for it? It would replace an ancient 7-8 year old laptop which is almost dependant on it's power lead due to a duff battery...

I picked up the new Apple MacBook Retina from John Lewis. Very happy with it so far, seems a great replacement for my ageing MacBook Air! Nice discount from the list price too
Also ordered this on eBay - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Linx7-7-Windows-Tablet-3... . Not yet sure I'll have much use for it but my Office 365 is due for renewal and this seems a cheaper way of doing it

Im after a new iPad so hopefully I will be able to pick up one with a bit of a discount.
BT are making it hard for me though as my internet connection is down and they aren't sending an engineer until monday so I will be trying to buy one on my phone.
Discounts on the iPad Air 2 were minimal but I a managed to pick up a 16gb air 1 for £250 from Argos. Not the amount of memory I was looking for but for a device I only use for surfing from bed it'll do me. It's massively quicker than my original iPad1. I love the idea of posting how much you hate black friday "on principle" on a thread about Black Friday deals...
Makes you sound like the type of person that stamps on a kid's sandcastle.
I was just thinking the same. Its almost like they are denying that there are good deals out there. Makes you sound like the type of person that stamps on a kid's sandcastle.
I bought myself an Amazon Fire Tablet for my Dad's Christmas present for £24. They are usually £60. Also bought a Fire TV Stick for £22, which is £12 off. I'm pretty happy with that.
Wifey bought me a FitBit charge for £150 from the FitBit web site. They retail at £200 and you can buy the black one for £145 all the time, but you can onl;y buy the coloured straps from FitBit and they had a Black Friday deal that lasts till close of play today.
I was tempted with a Ps4 or an XBox One, but resisted in the end. There are always refurb deals on Ebay if I want to save money.

Have realised I need mSata, so I'm tempted by this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-250GB-850-EVO-mSAT...
I know it's not discounted by much, but the performance seems to be good and I can get two and mount them in RAID.
