When working with an ever-expanding workbook, is it possible to sort the worksheet tabs into alphabetical order?

Right click the tab and select move/copy.

Don't think so, but you can drag and drop!

That doesn't allow you to sort them alphabetically though, does it?

We have a workbook with around 50 worksheets, and although when the workbook was created, the sheets were entered alphabetically, murphy's law says sooner or later we will need to have a new sheet, and the tabs will no longer be alphabetical.... the new sheet will be at the extreme right.

I'm just looking for an easy way for users to be able to find the worksheet they need quickly and easily.

It does, just not automatically. You'll have to drag and drop the worksheets.

if you have that many, you may find adding a front one and placing hyperlinks to all others a quicker route for the users
