Has anyone used any of these sites eg - mp3search.ru & allofmp3.com?? Are they any good?? I'm wary of giving a CC number to them but you can send them money on-line to limit risk.

Apparently they are legal under russian law.

I've used allofmp3 and found them to be excellent. They allow you to choose the format/quality of the download, and charge you per Mb, so quality dicates the price.
I would recommend you download and use their application for downloading the music as it manages multiple downloads automatically.

Kicks iTunes into a cocked hat...as my old Gran used to say

And they've recently won their court case confirming that they use a valid loophole in Russian copyright law - so (legally) you're not even doing anything wrong

I'm in my 5th year out here, don't know everything but I'll give you this piece of advice:
If you're careful with your credit card security in the UK, be extremely careful when dealing with Russian individuals or companies that you do not personally know and even then, there's still a risk.
If you doubt my advice, contact any international bank, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, etc, and get their advice.
I'm pretty certain what it would be. Least ways I know what Barclays International's policy is.
