Guys,

I need to transfer a fair whack of mp3s from my pc onto my apple notebook. How can I do so? I was going to transfer via the iPod, but I can't as I would have to re-format it into apple mode to finish the transfer and this would wipe the music off it.

Anyone got any idea, the music is currently in Musicmatch mp3 format and I wuld like to put i across onto itunes on the apple.

TIA and apologies if this just comes across as random tosh!

If they both have network cards, connect up the ethernet ports and use FTP.

Might depend on the age of your powerbook, but you if you shut it down, then restart it while holding down the "T" key, after a while a Firewire symbol appears. The notebook is now effectively an external firewire drive. Of course, you need firewire port on the PC too....
