HI All,

Got the gravity newsreader and subscribed to alt.binaries.howardstern to download his show.
Whenever I try to decode, it says "can't find all parts" GRRRRRRRRRRR

Any ideas?

It will be caused by your newsserver missing parts of the post. This could be caused by a few problems:

1) The post may be expiring (they are only held for so long, as low as 2-3 days on ISP servers)

2) Whoever posted it may have had errors

3) The completion on whatever server you are using isn't very good.

I suggest you subscribe to a pay news service if you want a better completion such as Astraweb, Newshosting, or GigaNews.

More than likely nothing to do with Gravity tho.

Very much agree, especially if you're on BT; retention and poor propagation are some of their many weakpoints.

I'd add clara to the list of ISP's who are wrth a look; £30 a year for something like 30gb a month? Can't remember - never hit the limit, though.
