Thread resurrection but I need a wi-fi router to use with a BT g.fast/ultrafast modem - no idea which one as I believe it's whatever OpenReach supply.
All I think I know is that the router needs to support PPPoE.
From a quick dig around both the Google WiFi and Nest WiFi say they support this so does anyone know if there is anything more to it than that please?
Also I'm reading things suggesting the first "round" Google WiFi is preferable to the Nest WiFi so does anyone have any thoughts on that please?
It's a small house where right now the WiFi coverage is fine from a cheap TP-Link.
