No replies???

Anyways I've still not had anyone phone me. I have decided that I won't be taking my landline number with me. Another 10 days or so and its all cancelled.

Our full package 75 is due to end in a few weeks and go up to 135.......a quick call, lovely lady, got it down to 93.....couldn't see the point in spending hours searching around for an alternative provider and not sure how they would install given all that's going on,

took the pound signs out!!!

My contract is up in a month and I want to give them 30 days notice, can't cancel online and can't get through on the phone, bill goes from £27 to £47, suppose I'll have to pay the extra for a month or two.

Has anyone managed to get to anyone about contract changes? Or all the centres shut?

We still want to get rid of our TV package, wish I’d done it back in February now!

I've tried again and again to call them, no luck getting through, I'm just going to wait a month or two, will have to pay the full amount until I can get through, hopefully they'll do a deal and give me some credit.

I’m moving next week, filled out a form online and they contacted us in about 3 days. Engineer coming the morning after we move and upgrading from 200mb to 350mb they want us to go from £36pm to £52pm. Told them it’s £38pm for new customers so will just change the account holder and they settled on £38pm with a £20 admin fee and no engineer install costs.

I guess with people being concerned about income, they may be more flexible!

Found out this morning that Virgin have added a bulk load of channels (except HD) to my package for free, for me to watch as I spend more time at home smile

After I posted i thought I’d give them ago, plenty of time on my hands after all! Only on hold for 15/20 minutes or so and they were super helpful, very different experience to last time I rang and tried to change my package. TV gone, phone gone, BB only £34 month. Done and dusted.

£30 a month saving for something we’re not using anyway, perfect.

I've got a half price sky Sports and Cinema deal ending mid May, I want to make sure that the deal is cancelled and doesn't go to full price (only wanted it for movies and F1), will likely go for the NOW TV Sky Cinema package which is £12 pm which can be cancelled whenever, Virgin want £22 for the same thing.

However their webchat is directing me to calling them, I just can't be arsed though (even though I'm going to have to), hopefully they will put movies on for what NOW TV are charging, I'd be happy with that.

PITA that I can't cancel the half price movies and sports online.

They are taking the piss now. I agreed a new contract with them at the beginning of March for 60 quid. They've billed me for 76 quid, now they are denying it was every agreed. They previously said the best they could do was 66 until I called up and got it for 60. They had 66 on the system before but told me to phone back at the start of the month for a better price.

Slightly thread detour but seems easier than starting a new thread!

Virgin have said they don’t need my old TiVo box back and it has a 1Tb hard drive in it which would be rather handy!

Anyone successfully removed and reused a TiVo hard drive?

It should just be a standard disk that you can reformat as needed. The tricky part might be getting in to the box!
