Just bumping this as I've got a fenix 5 on the way. Blacks are selling them for £350 and there's £17 cashback too so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm far from athlete but I've joined the PH connect group.

Any recommended apps or watch faces?

I've had my Fenix 5 since last April, loving it! It's displaced my usual watches almost completely. Just joined the PH group today smile

Arrived today and I'm impressed so far. I've added a screen protector https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B06XSSJPZN/ref...

and a different strap https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07D6HK9FC/ref...

Who is Aston Zagato then? I added you to my weekly steps challenge with my friend this morning by mistake, however we're happy to have you along (as long as you don't win)

An apt time to bump this thread. I've been loving the fenix 5 but it's going back to garmin today as it is now chewing through the battery in less than 5 hours with nothing running.

I'm looking forward to getting it back soon.

Mine was doing almost a month per charge when I first got it, down to two weeks now. I'm not sure how apple watch users managed charging every day!

Agreed. Far better for not accidentally selecting things on the move, not needing to look at the screen to start/stop/lap, no issues with gloves and it works in water.

I just wish the star stop buttons were on the opposite side. I keep Turing the tracking off by bending wrist.

It’s my only criticism of the watch.

Yes, at the time 200km cycling / 50 km running a month. Now a bit more than that... wink

Maybe it needs to be a little less tight? Can't say I've ever had that issue

Yeah, ive just *tried* to press the buttons by bending my hand back and... i'd need a broken wrist to do it!

Using my right leg to bend my wrist back and not close. How flexible are you?
