If you liked Libre, try WPS Office 2016 Free as well ... especially if you only need the basics like Excel and Word functionality.I tried both (plus some others) whilst looking for a free Office package for my wife's laptop. I was hard pushed to tell the difference between WPS's spreadsheet and word processing programs and Excel / Word.

Does your employer use office 365 for their hosted email system and do they get their office subscriptions from 365 as well?
If the answer to both of those is yes then you already have a licence for Office which is valid for 5 devices. It expires when you leave your employment though,
