iPad Pro battery drain

Afternoon,

My iPad Pro (14mnths old) seems to be losing battery charge very quickly.

Example. The first 5 > 10% drains away quite slowly then it accelerates from there.

Clues.

I've not long had it repaired from being quite smashed and didn't notice the problem before
I've checked screen brightness and have it set quite low
I've switched Bluetooth off
I've done a restart
My battery monitor doesn't seem to show any apps draining in background

Not yet done a factory reset

Any help appreciated

My iPad Air started behaving in a similar way. I had a new battery fitted which didn't help. Ended up replacing it. Much older than yours obviously.

Look at the battery condition with coconutbattery or similar

It could, if charged every day for 14 months, need replacing

Thank you, I do keep it on charge pretty much all the time so perhaps the battery has had it.

Odd that my original mk1 iPad battery holds a charge for days on end.
