USB with micro SD Card slots to create a sd micro HD?

Does such a thing exist?

Everyone has micro SD Cards lying around and Im wondering why I can hook them up to a small compact flash or a usb device to create a Micro SD Card HDD?

Why cant I find anything that can accommodate what I would like to do?

You can buy ones that take a single card, can't see it working effectively with multiple cards though as they weren't designed for that sort of use

I saw that, still don't get why I cant get 3 or 6 micro sd in a configuration like in the picture I have as an usb stick.
