I'm waiting for the new Pixel to be released (October?). My Nexus 5 is getting on a bit, so I reckon it will be a good replacement.
My HTC is becoming an pain to use, it seems to have wifi issues. I may reset it but tbh if I am going to go through the hassle of re-setting up a phone then I'd rather do it with a new phone.TheAngryDog said:
My HTC 10 is a hateful phone, should never have gone back to HTC.
I want a new phone, but unsure whether to get one now, or wait to see what is coming out later this year.
I mainly use for sat nav, some photo's and internet browsing.
Thoughts?
It's all on budget and spec really.I want a new phone, but unsure whether to get one now, or wait to see what is coming out later this year.

If you have £450, then I would buy a Oneplus 5
If you have more, then one of the big boys like S8
If you have £200, then a Chinese import or a Moto G5
If you must have an Apple product, then buy their stuff according to your budget.
I think the market is very fair at the moment, you do get what you pay for. More money, smarter phone, flashier, but not neccesssarily more functional as the software is quite cheap. Storage space eg 8Gb vs 32Gb vs 128Gb becomes the next differential.
If you ran a £200 phone for a while, I think you'd quickly work out what the money buys you, maybe you'd be happy. If you need waterproof rating and near-field charging, and a 300megapixel camera, and people to admire you when you plonk it on the table, then prepare to empty the wallet.
I have a Oneplus3, that I bought 2nd hand for £200 because it has a tiny dent in the body, which is covered up by a case. It is far more in a phone than I ever will need.
