iOS 11 - who's upgrading?
Discussion
It was terribly unstable on my 6 Plus - constant locking up and freezing / slow performance in apps - it also needed rebooting every few hours.
I have reset content and settings and that has helped with the stability but then I have only added a handful of apps.
I also can’t use speakerphone in calls - seems to be a bug.
I was handing onto this phone awaiting the 8/X but now feel very disillusioned about these products!

I think you will find that only disconnects you from your current Wi-Fi connection.
You know have to dig into settings to fully turn Wi-Fi off. The message I see in the Wi-Fi settings page with the control centre button selected to off is
'New Wi-Fi network connections have been turned off from Control Centre'
So definitely not the same as before.
oh I didn't notice as only use one network at a time like my house/workplace.You know have to dig into settings to fully turn Wi-Fi off. The message I see in the Wi-Fi settings page with the control centre button selected to off is

Just using control centre means it'll just come back on at some point...

holding off doing this and will be for a while. Question is how long till they stop supporting the SE?
Isn’t the SE the same as the 6 (in a smaller case!) ?I only bought my SE 6 months ago as prefer the size
Apple watch 3 is comparable with 6 & later. SE included as ‘later’
One thing that is starting to annoy me a little is the behaviour after using the multitasking screen to close apps. On the iPhone, once you close the last app it automatically returns you to the icon page you were on, whereas on the iPad it leaves you on the Control Centre screen, and you have to tap an empty part of the screen to get back to the icon page (which is also how the phone behaved under iOS 10)
I’ve lost count of the number of apps I’ve accidentally opened on the iPhone after closing other apps because of the inconsistency between the two devices.

I upgraded my 6s on Friday. Battery life has been noticeably worse since, so much so that I've just flipped over to power save mode to try and make a charge last a bit longer.
I've followed the main guides on the web - so things like location services are toggled to only while using for relevant apps, I don't have auto updates enabled etc.....in the time I've been typing this the phone with power saving enabled has dropped from 44% to 40%!
Hoping iOS 11.1 has some fixes or I'll be rolling back :-(

Having a minor meltdown here.
Phone (on iOS 11) backed up to iTunes on Sunday. Prior backup to this was last year.
Rolled back to iOS 10.3 last night due to dire battery. Go to restore phone in iTunes - only the backup from last year shows as available. Realise I have to go back to iOS 11 to get any of my recent content and photos back, which I want, so update software to iOS 11 once again.
Back into iTunes - the restore from Sunday still isn’t showing but I can see it in the appdata within Windows.
Any ideas?
