I updated my 6s a couple of days after release and it took a few days for battery life to settle down.

Mine doesnt seem to be - upgraded about a week ago.

It’s dropped 12% since I posted the message above and I havent used it once - it’s just been sat on the coffee table.

Now found that the do not disturb schedule does not repeat every night.

You have to keep activating it each day.

Mine does, it was on with 10. I did not re enable it when I upgraded to 11, it just carried on. Not running beta on my phone.

For anyone having battery issues, try 11.0.1. My 7+ was horrible on 11 but has been running 22 hours since the last charge with 9 hours of usage and reports 30% battery remaining. This is in line with what I was seeing on 10.x

Battery drain was shocking on 11. Worse than my old Nexus 6P.....which needed charging before the day was out.

Gone onto 11.0.1 overnight, not got any apps running and took off charge about 8am, it's now on 94%.

Sent a couple of e-mails.

It's instagram which seems to be using most of my battery, so just limiting use today and see how it does

I turned off Background app updates and raise to wake - and the battery seems to be lasting a bit better. Gone from fully charged this morning (~7:30am) to 75% as of now.

Took one 5 minutes phonecall in that time.

I have just discovered i am no longer getting any sounds from notifications, and that with them all set up properly, and a restart.

Spotify / Sonus had a bit of a wobbler post upgrade.
Somehow, after using Spotify (to play through Sonus) music was playing when the app was closed & not runnng at all.
Power reset of ipad seems to have sorted it out.

I live in a coverage black spot and rely on wifi calling (EE). One issue in the past was the iPhone always 'looking' for a signal. This consumed a lot of juice. I don't think you can turn it off. Anyone know? Actually i think you can but it means shutting off 4G which would mean turning it on when i wanted to use the network
Settings > Mobile Data > Wi-Fi Calling ON/OFF

I find it very unreliable so disable it anyway.

That's what it had this morning, when sat at 1%.

iPhone 6s which is 20 months old, very limited use yesterday!

And, at the risk if making myself look a tt (again), visual voicemail is a bit lumpy on 02.

However, i have noticed that when you start listening to one with the phone up against your ear, if you move the phone away so that the screen comes back, it now automatically pauses playback of said voicemail.

That probably explains why I wondered what was going on too!

I like the little trick of sliding a key to get the symbol above. It's really good for passwords with numbers and letters etc.

BTW it's a new iPad, so it may have been around before
