The installation/activation sequence is interesting. I'm on the part that requires you to do a backflip 3 times when a red bus drives past.
I thought that when I read some of the instructions ... not ready to install quite yet so I've got that particular joy to come!

Quick heads up for any other SmartThings users out there - Amazon and Maplin are doing most of the sensors for £18. Motion/Multi/Moisture/Presence etc. The presence sensor seems a bit naff (and you can set your phone up to the same end) but the motion sensor and multi sensors work pretty well.

I'm not sure about the moisture sensor though. I almost ordered one, but couldn't see any use for it other than detecting a flood. Not an insignificant thing, but the other sensors can all 'do' things rather than just be used for home security purposes.

Does anyone know for definite if the Sonos price reductions are permanent and not just for Black Friday?

Amazon says "New everyday low price" and Sonos website says "New lower price" which implies they are, but a lot of sites are advertising it as a black friday deal such as John Lewis.

I wanted to make my first foray into Songs, but there is no rush and will probably leave it until after xmas unless the price reductions are for this weekend only.

I'm thinking about 2 Play-1's ,or possibly a Play-3 instead for now.
Yes, Play:1 and :3 both on permanent price reduction.

Play:Bar and :Base only until Monday.
Any news on the Sonos Sub?

I've just splashed £619 on one albeit with 11% cashback

If anyone spots any deals on reputable smart plugs I could do with a couple more. With Christmas coming up I can see a real convenience factor in having the fairy lights controllable by voice.

TP-Link HS100 were reduced from £25 to £20 in Argos and then went on 3 for 2 making them just over £13 each which I thought was quite good.

It looks as though they have changed the offer to '3 for £40' rather than '3 for 2', but works out the same price :

Stock might be problem, but hopefully they will get some more.

It says that, but is coming up in basket at £60 up to the point of checkout. So I'm not sure it's accurate still.

I just tried, and it did the same. It says it is available until 1st December but clearly something is wrong. Hopefully, they will sort it out so you can get some.

My crappy 42" LG smart (not so much) LED TV is on its way out.

Anyone know of any good cyber Monday deals for a new oled tv? Or a decent quality LED tv?

Our new Panny TV bought from JL on Black Friday is now £30 cheaper!

Good old JL have refunded the difference but it does make a mockery of BF.

I bought a DJI Osmo Mobile, down some 20-30% on Amazon. Nowt else.

Missed a Moto G5S deal for the wife, but it's only £15 or so up so I'll probably still get it anyway.
