I have not heard it, but the Sky Soundbar is supposed to be a cracking bit of kit for the price, let me check with a tech reviewer I know.

The Sonos deals are coming, 24th to the 27th.

Play 1's down to £149 from the 24th

and Play:3's down £50 also, to £249.

Edited by VEX on Monday 20th November 21:16
That's great thanks! Is it from the Sonos site direct?

I'm after some Sony Noise Cancelling over-the-ear headphones (MDR100X) should they appear.
Good deals now in Amazon Warehouse 20% off, although they sneakily upped the warehouse price a tad.

The mention of a soundbar above has got me thinking, and maybe someone on here can steer me right. I've got an Echo Dot in the front room that (whilst great for everything else) is rubbish for music. It won't hold bluetooth connection to my Anker SoundCore 2 speaker - which is perfectly adequate quality for my needs, I'm no audiophile. I was debating getting a 2nd gen Echo to replace it (and move the Dot elsewhere.)

Separate issue, my TV volume varies from far too loud (during action scenes, music) to far too quiet (speech.)

Would a decent soundbar solve both problems? And if so, has anyone seen anything that's <£100 recently and would do the job?

Since when did 3 times budget become, 'slightly above'?!?!

I'm sure it's great, but there's just no way I can afford that unfortunately.

How do you think I've managed to swing a SmartThings starter kit with all the sensors, a set of Hue bulbs and the agreement to a new Echo (or alternative as discussed above) when the starting point was..well, nothing smile

We all know man maths sneaks in subconsciously. I've never seen it work quite so subtly as that typo before though.

Needs to run photoshop and lightroom so I'm gunning for SSD and a larger screen size. Windows 10 OS.

Just had to go for this deal for 2 x Ultimate Ears BOOM 2 Wireless/Bluetooth speakers for £145!! I've already got the larger Megaboom version, and love it although it's a bit big for travel. Definitely recommend these if you're looking for a bluetooth speaker.

The UE Boom 2 is a cracking speaker, been using mine for over a year now.

I bought an XB1 1TB from Amazon last week for £230 with Battlefront 2 and AC:Origins and a Tom Clancey game, not bad I thought.

Seem to be limited offers of 1TB packages.

My missus bought that for our lads Xmas present (or something very similar), she got a further 8% off through TopCashback or similar.
