A Golf doesn’t have fully adjustable suspension and leasing stops you doing an engine swap or getting the angle grinder out to turn it into a pickup. The bds won’t even let you rip out the stereo, swap the steering wheel for a square one or have the interior retrimmed in purple velvet. These ought to be important concerns for people who lease Golfs, and they are therefore idiots and sheep for doing so. How dare they be satisfied with something that works perfectly well for them?

130 apps you use regularly laugh I'd suggest that you're probably not Apple's target market with that sort of phone obsession.

I recently tried to move to Android as the camera on the Huawei P20 was so good, but I lasted a week before I sold the phone. Plus not being able to send things to the Apple TV, use FaceTime, iMessage etc was annoying, guess my family is now an Apple family for life.
It's amazing how people get taken in by these proprietary applications. Just use Skype and WhatsApp.
I don't use any proprietary platforms to ensure I can switch platforms easily if needs be. Plus I can use it on my desktop or laptop regardless of the operating system.

Not the same though, is it?

You're prevented from doing those things because you have to return it at the end. If you owned the Golf outright, you could do whatever you wanted with it. Volkswagen don't, say, weld the engine block to the head to make it deliberately difficult to repair.

Why would the end user care? They don’t want to do it anyway.
