Have fibre to the home with BT, coming to the end of my contract and would like to move provider. Issue is can't seem to find anyone who will offer me a similar product. Have spoken to some providers and state they can offer fibre to the cabinet, but not sure if this is feasible, one that cabinet is about half a mile away and two does the fibre network that open reach installed to the house actually offer a service from the cabinet. Pre fibre best I could get was 1.5mb speeds.

Any pointers where I can try for a similar service as Unlimited infinity but not with BT. (Virgin media not in area) Vowed when it was installed I would leave after contract was up as issues with installation were appalling as were the excuses, after months of wrangling did get a good compensation offer and new deal for the year, which is due to expire shortly. (it appears that their service has yet to improve in relation to installing, neighbour still waiting for fibre installation date for completion was early January).

Thanks

Sonie

This gives a wee list of providers but it's a bit old now, most will have improved though. It explains the some still use BT

Use the below to see what's in your area, not sure if it shows other providers for FTTP because mine only shows BT as available to me for FTTP
